Proposed Community Center
The Farmington Public School District will be consolidating High Schools. The school board has decided to sell Harrison High School to the City of Farmington Hills, which then plans on converting the property into a $20 million community center, according to community news website The Farmington Voice. An earlier property appraisal showed that the property is not desirable to homeowners due to noise and proximity of I-696, as well as traffic congestion along 12 Mile Road.
